I have two goals to help bring about peace in the world. My short term goal is to make one person a day happy so that person can spread his happiness around. Doing so can make one more person in the world who is having a bad day happier so he won't have any negative energy. People with negative energy will not care about anything else only there problems which can cause harm to a person if that problem takes over their day. It may not sound like a good short term goal towards peace but i believe that one person can start somewhere in helping achieve peace.
My next goal is a long term goal in achieving peace. I want to open a charity that helps the third world countries in their fights against AIDS and hunger. Doing so I can at least help real people in need like the children in Africa. They live every day hungry or worse, living with AIDS. I believe they are the people in really need of help. I wish to achieve this long term goal in the future so i can help towards getting world peace. World peace does not come easy as many people need to help towards the cause and not sit back and say they want peace and expect something in return.

Opinion Editorial
I believe there are a number of elements preventing peace in the world. Peace cannot be achieved just by sitting around and saying we want peace. Peace needs to be earned and earning it won’t be easy. One element preventing peace is dictators. Dictators basically hold up the country hostage. They rule with an iron fist, getting rid of anyone standing in their way. They just care about their wealth and rule that peace con not be achieved in the country. Many people believed in dictators that with them peace can be achieved, but only in the beginning of a dictatorship, peace is around for a little.
Imagine being a 25 year old growing up in Egypt. You only know one ruler, or as other people would say, a dictator. Hosni Mubarak has been in charge of Egypt for 30 years and has ruled with an iron fist stopping anyone in his way. Until recently, no one has done anything to stop his reign since many Egyptians considered him a hero. A revolution occurred in Egypt in January of 2011 with the idea of trying to get the country to become a democracy. The young people of the country grew tired of only growing up with one ruler. The revolution at first was peaceful with people in the street protesting and playing soccer matches. They threw flowers at the feet of the army and danced and had fun while protesting. However, pro-Mubarak Egyptians didn’t sit well with the idea of protesting and began fighting with the protesters. The protesters didn’t know how to protest during the fighting so they decided to go online to get tips from the people of Tunisia who have early had a revolution. I believe that the Egyptians did the right thing in getting tips since there has never been a revolution in the country’s history. The dictator Mubarak didn’t know how to stop the revolution so he decided to kill anyone who was protesting against him resulting in many deaths.
The revolution could have gone more peaceful in my opinion if Mubarak would have let it go on peacefully. The revolution unfortunately hurt many businesses as they had to shut down and ended up losing millions of dollars in tourism. The companies had to shut down as the workers were on strike to earn better wages. The revolution ended with Hosni Mubarak stepping down and the army taking control until the next election. The country in my opinion is on the right track to becoming more democratic and better economically. Egypt has a bright future that it can look forward to. The revolution was a success.

Inner Peace
Inner peace can be many things. It can be being at a peace of mind or being able to relax through any problems one might have. I have the inner peace of being relaxed through any problems in life. In the midst of anything bad to not having money for rent or having gas to go to school, i just relax over anything and keep it chill. Many people need to have inner peace i believe since people go crazy with every little problem they have. Everyone needs inner peace one way or another because without inner peace, people start wars and fights and end up messing up everything. To achieve it, people need to be more relaxed through everything and not fuss so much about it. There little problem shouldn't dictate their whole day. If your low on money, so what you will get money again. It's not like you don't have money for the rest of your life. The way i was brought up, i was taught you only live life once so enjoy it and don't worry about anything in life. I know it sounds foolish but that's how i was taught and my life has been awesome from the get-go. I believe everyone should work at achieving inner peace, it will help make the world a better place.

Egyptian Revolution
Egypt to me as always been like a beautiful place to visit. It is rich in culture, mummies, and food. The country is very old dating back many many years at it is were pharaohs ruled and pyramids were made in honor of them. Recently the country has gone through a revolution. The people have gotten tired of their dictator who has been ruling them for at least 30 years. The Egyptians protested and rallied in Tahrir Square, a main part of the capital Cairo. The protests began first as peaceful, but when pro- Mubarak groups confronted the protesters, things began to turn violent. People died and many were injured. The protesters needed more people in the rallies so they went to social media site like Facebook and Twitter to recruit. Afterward thousands of people came o protest. The President noticed and shut down the internet for no one else ca know what is going on. The shut down just got them more angry and they continued rallying for their freedom. After 18 days of protesting and violence, President Hosni Mubarak resigned his position and transferred power to the military. The protesters were happy Mubarak left but still wanted the democratic government. The protesters gave the military a set of demands to achieve their goal of democracy. The goals included releasing protesters from jail. The military replied by saying they will make amendments to the constitution and also ratify them within two months. Egypt has since calmed down since Mubarak has left office but more protests are going on in the business side. People have not been paid for a month and they demand that they raise their salaries since hey make an equivalent of $46 US dollars a month. The country is still going through some change but it's what the Egyptians wanted and what they needed.

RE: Seeds of Peace
There are many children being impacted by the way of life in areas of conflict. Many organizations around the world don’t help children in these areas. Organizations that help these children are needed dearly daily. Many of the children’s family can’t help the kids because they are either fighting for their lives or are dead. For these kids its hard going through life in the situation they are in. Many of their family and friends are killed in these areas.
Seeds of Peace are trying to change the lives of these kids. They get kids from these areas of conflict and bring them together with other kids and try to change their lives. Seeds of Peace try to change their lives by getting the kids to communicate and open up about what is going on. They teach them leadership and respect for all people. Seeds of Peace work mainly in the Middle East and South Asia area. They got offices in New York and the United Kingdom. They also hold camps in Maine. Their main mission is to plant seeds in the kids so they can change their future and the futures of many other kids. The kids go to camp and learn from one another how the conflict affects one another. They have many programs designed to help the kids. They teach them non-violent actions to take to help them get through any pain they might have towards the other people.
You can reach Seeds of Peace by either emailing them or giving them a call. They have offices set up in New York and Maine. They also accept donations to get their cause further across the world.
SeedsofPeace.org is a very informative website. It gives people so much information on the organization and their mission. It also includes information on how to contact them, donate to them, their mission statement, visions and so much more.

The Central Asian Institute.
I think the film is really showing how one guy can make a big difference in the life’s of the less educated. The Central Asian Institute does the best that they can to help the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan to get a quality education. The people really take the education that they are getting and really use it to the best they can. The kids of the countries can really make an impact of the future if they can keep the education going. The girls really need to get educated in order to really impact the future of their countries. Like the movie says if the girls can get up to a fifth grade education, many things can happen like their health can improve and the population wont escalate. The girls really need to get educated to ensure a better future for them and the world.
What I think of peace.
What I think of peace, I think of hippies and just people chilling. It is a word that many people do not use or want. Countries be fighting and arguing everyday about world peace and it leads to wars and deaths. Peace should be in the world already cause there is too many people dying trying to get peace. I also think of peace as a relaxing state. If someone is at peace they are relaxed and just real chill. This world really does need peace. Looks what’s going on over the world in Africa, Afghanistan, and that other country with the funny name I think it’s where the llama guy lived or something. Peace is very important to me because I am at peace with everything around me. I believe people still should try to bring about peace in this forsaken world. We don’t need more deaths or wars. But then again, the United States wouldn’t be who we are today if we didn’t fight the British. Peace is needed in this world no matter what. I believe the place that needs it the most is the city right across the border from us. Juarez is the most dangerous city in the world! They need it badly. I feel sorry for what the people have to go through. I mean I wouldn’t want to go through that. Risk getting shot or beheaded cause I hung out with the wrong people or said something bad on accident. You know Juarez needs the peace badly!
